One day away! Which means it’s time.

My final 2024 Texas Season prediction:

  • • vs. Colorado State (W)
  • • at Michigan (W)
  • • vs. UTSA (W)
  • • vs. ULM (W)
  • • vs. Miss State (W)
  • • at Oklahoma - Dallas (W)
  • • vs. Georgia (L)
  • • at Vanderbilt (W)
  • • vs. Florida (W)
  • • at Arkansas (W)
  • • vs. Kentucky (W)
  • • at Texas A&M (W)

Texas goes 11-1 in the regular season of 2024. College Football Playoff berth locked up.

Hook'em. Mine  is exactly the same as I predicted on our Dome Foamers pod when I had Bobby on.

My predictions:

  • • vs. Colorado State (W)
  • • at Michigan (L)
  • • vs. UTSA (W)
  • • vs. ULM (W)
  • • vs. Miss State (W)
  • • at Oklahoma - Dallas (W)

  • • vs. Florida (W)
  • • at Arkansas (W)
  • • vs. Kentucky (W)
  • • at Texas A&M (W)

Could see a 9-3 season as well. Just depends on the injury bug biting us again, how much of a step our RB room takes in Baxter's absence and our secondary.

Pretty good odds that would get us a spot in the SEC championship game.  Here are the ranked conference opponents for the other 3 teams ranked in the top ten preseason.

Alabama has 5 ranked conference opponents, 3 of those on the road, but it hosts Georgia which is the only top ten team among them.

Georgia three top 6 opponents on the road and a home game against Tennessee.

Ole Miss has a relatively easy schedule--hosting Georgia and OU and going to Baton Rouge for its only games against ranked conference opponents.

Total Homer!  We are going all the way! 🤣

Were BAAAAAACK....  NO..... wait........ MY Baaaack!!! Is killing me!

It is fashionable to want 10+ wins but I want 2+.  Beat OU.  Beat Aggie.  The rest is gravy.

Ok, I want all the gravy, too!

Amen!!

10-2 I suppose.

My biggest prediction and most underrated intangible of the season is the way it is going to feel to FINALLY be out from under the big 12 referee jackboot!

Getting the occasional PI or holding call in our favor is going to be such a boon to my soul. Makes 11-1 feel more realistic. Here’s to some sanity on Saturdays
