Lorena defensive tackle Jackson Blackwell will visit Texas next weekend when the Longhorns play host to Colorado State. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound defender is currently committed to Baylor, but holds multiple P4 offers.

Last season Blackwell posted 56 tackles, including ten for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

He squared 720 POUNDS 😮😮😮

He's a bull.  We've recruited guys in the past with FAR LESS potential who turned out great for us.

The best IDL at Texas in the past 10 years were 3 stars. IDL can be developed more than any other position, because it's really about short radius bursts, bend, and hand placement.
