Schloss Adds Another SEC Pitcher (Wednesday 10:42 AM)

Featured Replies

Wow, I actually have something to share on a baseball thread 😀  Here goes:

I went to several Ole Miss baseball games this season and saw Saunier pitch a couple of times.  He was good the first time through the line-up and for 3-4 solid innings in his starts, but typically was relieved after that.  Definitely has starter potential, but still young and needs tutalege.

He was a Sunday / Tuesday starter for Ole Miss when healthy last season.

I’ll now shut-up and let the baseball experts take it from here.

Pretty good stuff right there.

Saunier only completed 5 IP twice and only saw six of his 11 appearances span into the fifth inning.

One of Texas’ glaring weaknesses was middle relief last year. Sounds like a good candidate for a spot there.
