He spoke about Zina coming in at 235 in January and is 260 now.

Is there a reason his dad didn’t make it?  I thought he wanted to meet with everyone on the academic side of the school since that’s so important to him

Just echoing above- if academics are so important, why did his father skip UT, the only school he’s considering with any academic reputation?

His father had work this weekend per Smith.

From what I was told … dad loves the academics at Texas … does he push a smaller university or city environment? We shall see

Smith really likes Texas IMO 

His dad made the April unofficial visit 

Is he down to OU, Tech and Texas?

One of those is a top 50 university in the US, and a top 10 public, the other two… aren’t.

Zina is already 260? My gosh! We sure he isn’t lifting and “nutritioning” himself into an interior defensive lineman?

I think that will be interesting with his decision. 

Texas could lose three EDGE this year, but two of those don't factor into his position. 

I believe Smith sees himself more at Texas than the others (prior to OU visit this weekend), but that doesn't mean he ends up Texas. 

One thing here to consider is does he see himself on a bigger stage than Texas Tech/Big 12? If so, it will be Texas or OU.

Well if his parents have any say and insist on the institution with the best academics, Texas is the obvious choice

@Gerry Hamilton is the 4th school Arkansas or Washington (UW was fourth school in his announcement tweet)?
