Tesla

Featured Replies

With all the talk about Lamborghini after the big visitor weekend I'm kind of surprised the Tesla UT connection isn't stronger. I know a few players drive Teslas but it seems like a missed opportunity.

Tesla is a brand with cache, especially with younger people, Tesla is one of the largest employers in Austin,  Teslas are fast (Sark is building one of the fastest rosters in football), and the cars are incredibly safe which should put parents at ease. Seems like a slamdunk and a connect no other university could really imitate.

Tesla doesn't have a marketing department or budget other than Elon on X.

Yea man Lambo >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Tesla sorry. Hookem! Shoot I'd throw the McLarens in the mix really show that Austin, TX love & wealth.

Yeah if it's just a straight money flex then I agree. I just think being located in the same city as Tesla offers some opportunities. Any University with means can aquire or rent European sports cars, nothing unique about it.
