okie state beat OU again so they have fallen below us in the standings.  Texas has 10-run ruled tech two games in a row (23-0 yesterday!).  we stand at 22-4 in the big12.  both okie state and OU are 21-5.  we are one game ahead of both of them.

 

if we win again today to close out the series with a sweep, we will be outright winners of our last big 12 regular season championship!  Amazing!

The Longhorns softball team has me excited to tune in and watch them on TV every time their games are available. Last time I moved I lost the LHN on the systems available to me. I hope the Texas softball team is about to go on a playoff run and they will be on TV a lot.

You're in luck as the game is on ESPN+ today. 
 

Currently the top of the 2nd and the Horns lead 4-0 with two outs and a runner on. 

And as I finished typing that a base hit to center now makes it 5-0. Runners on 1/2. 2 outs. 

After today’s 5 runs already scored this is the first team in school history to score over 400 runs. 

7 runs on 6 hits and the Longhorns lead 7-0 as we go to the bottom of the 2nd. 

3 ⬆️ 3 ⬇️. 
 

4 strikeouts in first 2 innings. 

Much better defensive outing for Tech. Perfect inning for them (second of day). Horns lead 7-0 as we go to bottom of 3rd. 

Tech on the board after a home run. 7-1. No outs. 

Bases loaded for Tech. 2 outs. Let’s see if Texas can get out of this. 

Big hit there for Tech drives in 3. It’s now 7-4. Runner on 2nd, 2 outs.

I hope we keep the momentum going into the ncaa’s. Would love to win the natty after coming close a couple of years ago!

Sorry yall… it got hectic. A 2 run homer made it 9-4. Then they somehow got another run in that I missed. 
 

10-4 with 2 outs in top of the 4th. 

10-4 horns now!

11-4 after the base hit from Mia Scott. 2 runners on. 1 out. 

11-4 top of 5th. 1 out and 2 runners in scoring position. 
 

12-4 on sac fly. 

14-4 on a bomb from Atwood! 

 

This will be over if Tech doesn’t score this inning.
