Update on Texas Indoor Facility

Drove up to campus today to take a look at the new Texas indoor facility. 

Indoor completion remains on track for early August. 

But for now, a quick look into updates on construction, which includes the outer shell of the facility looking very close to complete, and natural grass laid out for the future outdoor practice field.

a look at what will likely be an outdoor weight area, plus where the OL will work during special teams periods. 

Grass is down! And it looks good. I did think it was interesting there was only one goal post. Maybe that’s just for now, so we will update. 

Construction is still ongoing 24/7 as you’d expect.

Great update and pics @CJ Vogel Select donors have a soft opening viewing 7/25. This will only add to the recruiting success and S/C for Texas!

As of now, the bubble and fields will remain for the immediate future. Don't know beyond that.

I couldn't help but have that same though. The other end will be the UT logo on the back of the scoreboard at DKR too.

Well why not? Goal posts don't take up any space on the field itself.

They will be consumed by current I-35 expansion.
