I’m not going to name sources but I’ve had conversations with a current player’s mom and an ex player’s mom.

Thanks

Yeah things are bad folks. Players hate coaches, coaches leaving. Back to back championship. I think some of you just love to be miserable.

I get that Earleywine isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but let’s be fair here - the guy can coach. His track record speaks for itself: elite offenses, elite development, and a resume  most programs would

This seems depressingly similar to Women’s Basketball.

Fortunately, it’s not that bad. Players truly love Texas, each other, White and the coaching staff. The issue is with Earleywine alone. And he’s a stark difference than Singleton who players really liked.

They won despite Earlywine. It’s known in the softball world that he is not the best for teams. It’s a rough loss to have Coach Z gone. Former pro, head coach experience, and great and developing talent.

Let’s see what White does now.

Yea, I thought Gasso was on the ou staff under Gasso, brain fart.

JT Gasso is on staff at OU.  DJ is going to Tulsa from Arky

I am hoping Earlywine he does not come back.

If Katie, Kayden, Teagan, and Vivi were seniors, they’d be leaving.

Still feel that way?

Players don’t like him. There is a reason for Atwood and Goode’s slump. I’m taking these players any day over a coach who’s been fired from several jobs due to verbal abuse.

This is true. The staff, players and families know the truth.. that Earleywine is hard to work with and toxic to the team. Good for coach Z for not putting up with it, but sad for the players that are losing her and will have to deal with him for another season. Bad decision by Mike White.

Maybe she didn't like sharing the associate head coach position with someone new.

So it’s confirmed that Z left because of Earlywine?

Don’t know but Earleywine is now gone.

Guessing she got a HC job somewhere.

weird that it hasn't been announced she is a head coach anywhere.  Seems like they decided to part ways.

She left with no job plans yet.

Well, if Earlywine was really the reason for leaving, maybe she can rescind her resignation and hang around.

Both were apparently Mike Whites call.

Just now, Bobby Burton said:

Earlywine has accepted a position at the University of Tennessee. So mark that reason off your list.

Yeah, I know that. That's why I said what I said. My point is that if KZ resigned due to Earlywine being part of White's staff, that reason no longer exists.

Any former Mike White players from Oregon or Texas with  experienced success college coaches he can hire.

Mike White hires well. He’s used to it because his coaches are always getting head coaching jobs. I miss Singleton and he had a rough first year at Cal.
