I'm still thinking that Coach White probably wants to let some of the talented sophomores and freshmen battle for the available open spots in LF and RF.  There were some highly touted recruits that were backups last year as they were adjusting to the college game.

Yeah it wouldn’t surprise me if White closes shop now.  Maybe they get another arm to add depth in the bullpen with Kavan, Lincoln, Wells, Doty, and Gonzales.  Like you said, I could see them putting underclasswomen out there in the outfield spots.

This is where balancing utilizing the portal vs development of high school recruits comes into play.  If there’s an instant impact player out there they like that could fill one of those spots, I’m sure they would add them if the fit is right.  But still have to recruit and develop players they sign out of high school.

Texas only has one roster spot available if my math is correct. I don’t know if White will try to get an outfielder or move on. I’m ready for coaching announcements.

I don't care what Tech does in the portal anymore. We have won the portal and they can't catch us.

Plus, it seems like White has Glasco's number.  Talent is about even for both teams, White just has a better feel for the game than Glasco does.  I'm more curious to see how Gasso bounces back at OU after two seasons of NCAA tournament regression.

According to a redditor, allegedly she was headed to ATM but the NIL was less than what she had agreed prior to entering the portal so she backed off them.

She was posting or retweeting Tech stuff and people were calling it out immediately. That was before the WCWS was over.

That dude just won 40, 47, 47, 50 and 46 games the last 5 years. That’s pretty damn good. 

Even tho I expect Texas is done. A lot of teams are not. Numerous top 10 players have come off the board but players like Beachum and Edwards remain available.
