I guess that was to be expected.  We are still in a good position though.

He'll be in the DH role for a bit. He can swing, but he can't throw. The concern is that this is a recurring issue for him, going back to high school.

Fortunately still inside the top eight nationally. Hang on for the final series against Missouri and it’s off to the postseason.

If they only dropped one game in the polls, would that still be a slide in the polls?   😅

Where we at in RPI?

To answer my own question, #4 - https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1/rpi

Hopefully they weigh RPI as heavily for baseball as they did for softball.

RPI falls short.  Midweek games weighted similarly to conference games?  To take that a step further, we are weighting games similarly for starting pitchers that will likely never start in the postseason except for an extended regional session.  Bullpen guys that may never pitch in the postseason except season.

A loss by 1 run is treated the same being run ruled.
