Drum roll…. By far, the two teams with the most expected #1 draft picks in 2027 are:

Texas (4.25)

-vs-

Oregon (3.75)

Next 3 in order were LSU (2.5), Bama (2.25) and Notre Dame (2.25)

I’d take a national championship between the Horns and Ducks all day long.   Let’s see if the final season results prove Pate correct.   Let’s go.

That would be an insanely fun matchup.   Two of the top QB, top WRs, high scoring offenses, could come down to which defense can shut down the aerial assault.  Fun to think about.

I think he’s exactly correct…it’ll be Texas vs Oregon for all the marbles.

Drew mehriger is not will stein. They have all the pieces on offense but idk if they got the right play caller. 

Ohio State vs. Notre Dame is my prediction

In my opinion, the only teams that can realistically win a national championship this season are

- Texas
- Ohio State
- Notre Dame
- Indiana
- Oregon

A Texas-Oregon game in any capacity would be a lot of fun.

Two haven't played since the 2013 embarrassment in Mack's final game.
