F/10: Texas 4, Vanderbilt 3 The Longhorns improve to 32-9 overall and 13-7 in SEC play.

  • Really love the way Cozart competes to close games even when he doesn’t have his best stuff !   Big win, impressive taking 2 out of 3 at Vandy.

SEC baseball makes teams pay for mistakes.

Meh, we escaped.  Need to play better.  We are in a little bit of trouble with the back part of our batting order.  Last 2 games, and games against rival in college station are concerning baseball.  Looking at strikes, and swinging at balls not the disciplined at bats we started the season producing.  Trend is the concern .

Impressive to see Cozart stretch his work beyond 60 pitches.  But also, let's leave some in the tank for the post-season this year.

(I'll take the road win, just saying)
