Vandy pitchers are doing a good job working from ahead. When every hitter is taking the first pitch they just groove a get me over fastball for a strike and then throw breakers away that our hitters are willing to chase.

This one was close 1-1 until Stewart hit a grand slam. Boom. 

3 IP from Burns, with just one baserunner off a 64 exit velo cheapie, is a great sign

This Vandy pitcher is crafty, with control and good movement on his stuff.

Our team is so fun to watch at times and so hard to watch at others. Hopefully we figure it out by the regionals.

I think it is time to start discussing Ruger not being up to the level his draft grade is saying. At least, not right now. He’s been underwhelming for several starts now (maybe 4?).

This bullpen is really up and down. I know we have one of the best coaches/developers of the position, but my goodness it is lacking.

Great stuff from Burns + Flores in the pen. 5 IP, 1 run (that shouldn't have been a run — that's on Borba) is a great performance against this Vandy offense. Gave us a chance to win, unfortunately the offense didn't do its part

Inexcusable to go from 11 runs to shut out by a staff that is not stellar by any stretch. I mean nobody expects to get 11 again…but shut out. Flush this crap and figure it out. You simply can’t fall off this bad. 

This team mangers to crap in their pants at least one game in the 3 game series in SEC play.
