Bucky Ball

Featured Replies

As I've said before, you can't beat real talent with gimmicks. If Bucky doesn't cut his crap, he'll be gone in a couple of years.

Smart of them to pivot.

More than one or two ways to build a roster annually

Aggies have the NIL juice ... they should be an NCAA Tournament level team yearly

Teams that are doing this should be ashamed of themselves

I enjoy when OTF brings Billy on coffee & football. He actually has some good insight on A&M and the SEC. For some reason he makes a fool of himself on twitter regularly

Will be an interesting NCAA eligibility decision.  Warren entered the NBA draft...thus declaring his intentions to be a pro but went undrafted & has played in the G league 3 years.

Doesn't pass the sniff test.

Other G leaguers have already played in the NCAA's but none declared for the NBA draft...correct?

I want to see if Bucky can get Haggerty and Warren to play full-court defense for 30+ mpg. I'm skeptical.

I don’t think that’s apart of the game plan. They are just gonna have to be run and gun and  outscore people

I'm ALWAYS excited to get Looch's take on a sports item👀

Theiretically....If Dylan Swain stays in the draft and doesn't get drafted, he can come back to Texas? Correct? As long as he does hire an agent right?

That's pretty much what A&M is testing here the way I see it.

There's no way Swain isn't drafted. He's now being mocked 13-17. He's risen more than any player the last few weeks because NBA scouts stopped listening to talking heads and actually watched his tape against guys like Haugh, Dybantsa, Amari Allen, etc. What they found is that he was the best one-on-one player in CBB (yes, more efficient than Dybantsa and Peterson), and he has the best all around floor game of any of those guys.

While I doubt he was the "best" I completely agree with you that Swain has an excellent all around game.  There is nothing he cannot do acceptably well.  He should be a valuable sub for any team even as a rookie.  Some guys, Dybantsa for example, are going to start as rookies.

I hear you, but the scouting reports now say he was the best 1v1 player in CBB. It's based on his efficiency numbers when he touched the ball offensively. I didn't make that up.

Yes, that scenario can play out with a player and college.
