Why are some of yall being so hostile to others stating the possibility of Texas getting Seaton and either moving him to RT or playing Goosby there? Clearly every Texas site is talking about this, which means there’s clearly a plan. Stop fighting over the logistics and just be excited about the mere possibility!

The pitch to Seaton would likely be: Β spend a year at RT in the SEC (significant step up from the B12), then play a year at LT and you'll be a first round pick. At RT he could also be the backup for Goosby in the event of an injury.

pretty sure the pitch to Seaton is:Β  1) here's is a boat load of $$$$.Β  Β 2) be a part of an all star team that will win the natty next year.Β  Β 3) get drafted in the top 5 to get more $$$$.

If he is as good as what I'm reading about, not sure he's going to be around the following year.Β

That's what was said about Goosby.

Some folks have said other sites were leaving breadcrumbs about Seaton. Such as…?

Breadcrumbs are for Ducks, they must be hinting he'll be an Oregon Duck...quack quack!Β

Seaton is more mercenary.Β  Goosby is very thoughtful and more like the Manning family in their approach.Β

I think there were some other factors that helped bring Goosby back.

Not trying to be hostile, just telling it how it is. But I do agree with your premise of the logistics.Β

Yes, he stated in recent interviews that he wanted another year of strength and skill development and to spend a year on campus with his brother.

I read he's already started at Colorado for two years? Maybe my math was wrong on that one.Β

He’s a 3 and done player. He won’t be back in 2027

Could be, but that's the only plausible pitch with Goosby locked in at LT in his last year.Β
