The pitch to Seaton would likely be:  spend a year at RT in the SEC (significant step up from the B12), then play a year at LT and you'll be a first round pick. At RT he could also be the backup for Goosby in the event of an injury.

Also, the Top two OTs on Mel Kiper’s big board are RTs.

Penei Sewell, Lane Johnson, etc are highly paid RTs.

Agents know that playing both will only boost your stock

Ulave just signed with BYU

Was expected. Bobby mentioned that Texas was on the outside looking in. Michigan and BYU were the leaders. Michigan landed a transfer LB from BYU, so it made it obvious BYU was the pick.

The search for LB's continues. Well more so a Mike.

Versatility is a good thing. Good points.

Not Texas related, but I'll be interested to see where this Desir kid lands, probably wants somewhere with his twin, right?

So they wanna get shoved into a locker again? Sounds good to me

I need that guy who does skits on Youtube to do one about Bama getting owned in the playoffs. His ones where he has Saban chewing out DeBoer are hilarious.

Read the line right above the add at the bottom  on my post.

Reading is hard 🙂

If Seaton came here he would play RT. Right tackles get picked in the top 10 every year now (Membou last year, probably Mauigoa this year). Seaton is absolutely one of the best tackles in the country and an upgrade on Baker who could end up being a solid RG (🤷‍♂️). But Goosby is a leader on this team and has earned the right to protect Arch’s blindside

Seems like once Biles became a possibility, Texas cooled on Uluave.

I would imagine taking 3 portal LBs with only one year of eligibility left isn’t ideal when you lost a prospect in Barnes who was a big part of the future of the position past ‘26.

I bet portal LB3 has multiple years left

Get that pancake factory working overtime for seaton. In all seriousness, we have had a few O linemen leave and if budget is by position, id have to think we can field a competitive offer.

Not even going to be concerned about seaton until he officially enters and the mods tell us we are in it for him.

Bobby reported he's entered. And I can't imagine we're not interested

Mods ignoring our OL talk is funny as hell lmao

Oh they will have plenty to say on Tuesday Coffee and Football 😏

Bobby posted he has not officially entered yet

Also, I think most of us forgot that G they were interested in from Ole Miss. Wonder if they're still in on him or not.
