Kicker Gianni Spetic commits to Texas

Memphis transfer kicker Gianni Spetic announced on X he has committed to the Texas Longhorns.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder out of Chardon (Ohio) Notre Dame Cathedral connected on 15 of 20 FG's, including 4 of 5 from 50+ in 2025.

He kicked for two years at Ohio U. prior to transferring to Memphis for the 2025 season.

Spetic lettered multiple years in football, baseball, soccer and basketball in high school.

ok now let’s land a big fish.   i

feel the next will be the punter then a preferred walk on of some sort

We better get our punter or I’ll be pissed. Like @Joe Zura pissed.

15-20 gets you a Lou Gorza semi-final?
Clearly he's well regarded, but what's story on only 75%? especially since he was 4/5 on long ones? Can he not kick short? Am I missing something?
I trust the coaches, just trying to understand.

Are kickers and punters now are established portal players now?  No more taking chances on highly rated but inexperienced high school recruited kickers?
