  • My take on this won’t be popular with some folks (and that’s OK), but I simply don’t believe in this line of thinking. If Lefau, Moore and Wisner had their druthers, they’d all be back at Texas f

  • 1. Texas is building an offense around perhaps the best quarterback in the country and a defense around perhaps the best pass rusher in the country. Not a bad start. 2. Texas is far from the only

  • Christian Clark is the Texas RB1. James Simon and Michael Terry III will see time in the backfield as well.

Texas is expecting to hear some portal news here shortly according to a source close to the situation.

Wisner?  Uggh.  He should always be a Longhorn.

Hopefully he can come back to play against OU and A&M. 😂. Best of luck to Wisner.

I wish I saw something in Clark. Maybe he’s not fully back yet.

I have so much respect to Wisner but he was not going to be guaranteed RB1 next year with our future portal back coming in. Was in his best interest to go play somewhere else where he can be featured.

I wonder if he heard something from Sark in the players meetings that told him I need to hit the road? Was he seeking a bigger payday? Sark and the new RB coach may have decided to bring two guys in and completely revamp that room. And Tre didn’t like the sound of that. They’re definitely bringing in two now. I had two on my list even if Wisner stayed

The guy is a true Longhorn, he will be missed

A true Longhorn stays & finishes his career a Longhorn especially knowing whats on the line for 2026..

Certainly Texas will look to take 2 backs out of the portal now ?

Definitely the case. Look for two guys strong, solid with production in 2025.

I will say it’s interesting from a timing perspective that Wisner entered today just my opinion. I think Texas has a big fish lined up that’s being kept under wraps . But again just my opinion

While it sucks, this could be a sign that sark is truly changing up his philosophy/style of back he truly wants. Or he wanted too much NIL lol it happens new day of age, but I like to think it the former.

Any report this month about Wisner returning was quite inaccurate. There was a consistent gap between Texas and Wisner’s camp which was obviously never bridged.

It’s also why I maintained “all three avenues” were on the table for the Longhorn RB throughout this process.

Hope this means Gerry will be hitting us with a “Hi” very soon. Gonna miss Tre manhandling our rivals

This one stings. That dude stepped up in a big way when C4 went down. Seeing him in another uni is going to suck. I'm assuming his agent said he needed another year for his draft stock and Texas want paying feature back money.
