A couple of updated pictures from the future Texas Football Indoor facility and the ongoing construction just south of Moncrief and DKR.

Chris Del Conte mentioned the targeted completion date back at the beginning of the year as May 2026.

Here is how things look currently.

Looks like a great spot to have an annual OTF flag football game!

That thing is ugly as sin. Really should've found somewhere else for it.

I sent an email to the Longhorn Foundation on Sunday and was told its completion is currentlyQ NO expected in August of 2026. By

Grass field 2027??

The last public mention of grass in DKR was in 2023 from CDC, but the plan was to be installed in 2026.

I imagine we will get an update in CDC's next 40 Acres Insider

Wooof that's going to stick out like a sore thumb. It doesn't match with the surrounding architecture and gives overly modernistic vibes. Yuck.

It’s like some of yall wanted it to be built looking old when it’s obviously intended to be for the young 🤣🤣

Does Moody match surrounding architecture?  Does the basketball practice field?  Does the swim center?
