Thats a lot of nil for a position that isnt a need

I disagree. Our WRs are extremely mid. Bobby even said it was a need. Not giving Arch a 1st round type WR is not going “all in”

  • You have my attention. Harkless recorded 3 sacks this season at 6-3, 345.  10 pressures from up the middle would have been tied for 2nd on this year's Texas DL.

  • There are some very firm prerequisites I would have for Texas in regards to portal targets this year: 1. Coming off of season-ending injury? Crossed off the list. 2. I want a seamless positi

  • My thing with A&M flirting with high dollar WR is pretty simple.  Until they get a quarterback that’s able to consistently complete 10 yard passes, none of their moves mean anything to me.

We have a lot bigger needs.  We have good wrs. For the same money we could get multiple high end olinemen.

Doesn’t matter how high end a WR is if Arch doesn’t have time to throw the ball. OL is the higher priority

I don’t think you’re lying at all. Both of the responses are also true that OL is higher on the need list, but your premise that the WR’s aren’t elite is correct.

True. But you can’t get no WRs in the portal. If you roll out with Wingo and Livingstone as WR1 and WR2, you’ve failed the offseason.

Mosley, who is a NFL wr, will be #2.  Agree we need another wr and they will get one.  He was just a soph last year.  Wingo had a string of pretty good games last year.  Agree we need a wr and they will sign one.   I will be surprised if Bishop doesn’t come in and make plays.  He’s been an incredibly productive and explosive player throughout his ha career.  I would think we get quite a  bit more out of the freshman class from last year

If you’re going all in you go all in or it’s just talk. See Jerry Jones as an example….

Going all in means breaking the bank at every position you can to make that run for a title. Anything less is a waste.

I love how people think t xas has unlimited money. Texas pockets deep but doesnt mean unlimited.  You gotta still be smart with the portal

Down year in 2025. But talented player

Gerry had high praise for this kid pre-injury, wonder if we’d still consider him.

Also potentially of interest?

I don’t prefer kids who went D1 and fell to a lower level and blew up. I think he found his competition match. At TCU he was nothing we don’t have on campus.

My thoughts exactly.

You’re right, I was blinded by the stats before I read up on his backstory. I think near 1/2 we’ll see some bigger names enter, and those are the likely takes. Though I do like CJ’s crush from NC State. 👀

Merry Christmas everyone!

also me thinks Jaden Baugh and Florida would have announced he was staying after his meeting…. All they said is Florida thinks they feel good!

He’s a horn

Allocations are made for each position. It’s not necessarily a robbing Peter to pay Paul situation. Moore took some money off the books too.

CJ, is anyone ion OTF following Michigan opt outs today? The only one I found today on the Michigan site is edge Nate Marshall as a possibility.
