After a two round bye, the Longhorns are now set to square off against Tennessee tomorrow at 3:00 PM (SEC Network). The fact of the matter is, Texas has one goal this tournament: Stay healthy. They already won the conference and the tournament itself doesn’t really matter. The Horns just want to walk away with zero injuries and as much rest as possible before hosting a regional. — So who will pitch tomorrow against the Volunteers? Texas takes the field for the final scrimmage of fall camp tomorrow morning. The scrimmage will be a mock game – no coaches on the field, traditional entrances in and out of the tunnels and TV timeouts filtered in for the feel of what a real football game in the fall would feel like. Unlike a week ago, it is expected parents and traditional practice guests will be unable to attend the Longhorns' practice. We need to see repeated, consistent scoring, not just once every third series. 3 Stars of the Game vs. UTEP *** Star #1: EDGE Ethan Burke One of the best games of Burke's career as a Longhorn in my eyes. Off of a second watch, Burke was tremendous in run support and continues to improve as a threat rushing the passer. Really impressive game. Star #2: CB Graceson Littleton This was a strong bounce back game for Graceson Littleton following a San Jose State game where he was picked on for 15 targets and seven receptions. This will be the first visit to Texas for Fasusi and his father since the 2023 season after not attending Junior Day January 20. Both Jay Toia (UCLA) and Damonic Williams (TCU) are legitimate portal targets for the University of Texas, On Texas Football has learned. Toia announced his intention to enter the transfer portal today as a grad transfer from UCLA. Williams announced his intentions to transfer from TCU yesterday.
