I was very encouraged to see freshman running back Christian Clark working out with weights earlier this week. That means the talented runner from Arizona is well on his way to mending an Achilles heel tore in fall camp. Gerry Hamilton will be visiting with the Horns’ newest recruiting target, linebacker Kellen Wiley Jr. of Seffner (Fla.) Armwood High School, later this afternoon. Texas is coming off an 105-58 victory over Chicago State with Tre Johnson leading all scorers with 19.
