The Texas Longhorns are expected to add Western Kentucky DL coach Kwahn Drake to the staff in an assistant defensive line coach capacity, per Matt Zenitz. Drake was hired a month ago at WKU after spending three seasons with the Houston Roughnecks and Houston Gamblers of the USFL and UFL leagues. Prior to that, Drake had spent time at Colorado, Memphis, Tulane, Kansas and Eastern Illinois, all in defensive line capacities. The two years at Kansas were spent under Les Miles. Texas landed a massive piece to its 2027 class on Friday afternoon as Libertyville (Ill.) tight end Brock Williams, widely viewed as one of the top tight end prospects in America, committed to the Longhorns over Georgia and Ohio State. He announced his choice on the Pat McAfee Show on ESPN. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound prospect is the 11th pledge for UT thus far in the class, and the second tight end joining JT Geraci. Texas basketball adds developmental PG to the fold The Texas Longhorns added another player to the 2026-27 roster. Lithuanian 19-year old 6-foot-4 point guard Mantas Laurencikas committed to Sean Miller and staff Friday adding more depth and size to the backcourt. I feel like I'm starting to be a Trey Moore truther. The UTSA transfer has been one of the early standouts in camp. Yesterday, I asked Steve Sarkisian what makes Moore different than perhaps his other edge rushers. "He's twitchy," Sark said. "He has the unique ability to bend. He has an up and under move, a double move, he knows how to switch things up." Sark then described why Moore may be a little special. Sark said Moore knows how to set guys up, how one move earlier in a practice might give him an edge for a different move later in practice. Aidan Anding: The latest Texas has not let up in the recruitment of OnTexasFootball 4-star defensive back Aidan Anding (Ruston, La./High). Anding, 5-11 and 175 pounds, made an unofficial visit to LSU last weekend with his mom and two brothers. The same quartet that made two visits to Texas, including an official visit in June. Hook 'Em! The Texas Longhorns have added to their 2025 recruiting class with the commitment of CB Graceson Littleton out of Wiregrass Ranch HS in Tampa, Florida. Texas swoops in late in this recruitment and made a heck of an impression to pull off the recruiting win over Michigan after Littleton decommitted from Clemson at the beginning of November. At 6-feet, and 180 pounds, Littleton has a wiry frame with superb quickness and change of direction ability.
