Texas will be hosting 16 official visitors on the weekend set up for the first of two huge back to back weekends on campus. *** First, this weekend will be huge for the Longhorns to combat the momentum built up by Texas A&M for Hitchcock wide receiver Kelshaun Johnson. I have continued to hear positives in favor of the Aggies since his official visit a week ago wrapped up. Elite 11 Austin Recruiting Nuggets The Elite 11 tour cycled through Central Texas with a stop at Del Valle High School Saturday afternoon. The Elite 11 provided a look at some of the top quarterbacks in the region, as well as some of the area's top prospects were in attendance for the All 22 portion of the camp. Two of those visitors are scheduled to be Gilmer High's Ismael Camara and Columbus High's Keyon Hemphill-Woods. North Shore OL Abdus Kone was on campus April 3rd for the Longhorns scrimmage on Friday night. The 6-foot-6-inch, 330-pound offensive lineman holds five offers at the moment – from Kansas State, Colorado, Houston, Lamar and Sac State being the teams in the race at the moment.
