Texas two-sport athlete Jonah Williams will miss the remainder of the Longhorns' 2026 baseball season after re-injuring his shoulder earlier this month. Williams will undergo surgery with the expectation that he'll be healthy in time for football season this fall. Out of state 4-star++ visitor on campus Clearwater (Fla.) High 4-star++ right tackle Samuel Roseborough is in Austin visiting his mom for spring break, and has been on campus today. The 6-foot-5, 275-pound ultra athletic tackle is also expected on campus tomorrow to watch the team workouts as part of a two day unofficial visit. Roseborough is also scheduled to make an official visit June 20-22nd. OTF considers the Longhorns the early leader for one of the nation's top offensive line prospects in the cycle. This morning, the quick look is pure and simple. It's the out of state official visitors hit rate for schools that are in the top nine of the industry 2026 class rankings. Over 50 players from Texas on rosters for No. 1 at No. 2 showdown There are a combined 53 players on the rosters of Texas and Ohio State that played and graduated from high schools in the Lone Star State. The number breakdown is 48 Longhorns and five Buckeyes.
