Spoke to a few sources across multiple sports this morning and got a lot of good news across all fronts. Baseball: Texas swept a Top 5 Georgia squad over the weekend, without both Adrian Rodriguez and Max Belyeu. I checked on the status of those two earlier and was told that both are recovering well. Rodriguez is "structurally fine" but the staff does not want to rush his return. "It's solely when he feels better... but we need it to not hurt," said a source. Currently they are in Toronto for the “Globl Jam” and have already played two games up to this point against international competition. Earlier this week, OTF reported there was a possibility North Forney WR Briceson Thrower wouldn’t make it to his Texas A&M official visit scheduled for this weekend. After speaking with a source close to the recruitment on Friday morning, OTF can confirm Thrower’s trip to College Station is now off the schedule. With the schedule change, the only official visit remaining on the calendar is a trip to Texas set for June 12-14. Thrower previously officially visited Illinois back in April. There's been a lot of speculation regarding Texas Women's Basketball guard Aaliyah Crump as of late. The freshman was injured in mid-November and has yet to return to the floor for Vic Schaefer. Apparently there was a recent report that Crump is now going to redshirt, so I reached out to a team source this morning to get the latest. Crump continues to progress from her foot injury and is doing much better. However, no decision has been made on the former five-star at this time. The possibility to return is still there.
