Some additional thoughts: - Andrew Mukuba played a tremendous game. He would be my defensive MVP. Mukuba wasn’t just good against the pass, including the game-sealing INT. Multiple times he came screaming down against the run and he also cut off some lanes in scramble situations. - Ryan Niblett made the key block on Silas Bolden’s punt return for TD. - The complete lack of offensive holding calls was ridiculous. Most important coaching week for Sark since November of 2021 After an awful fourth quarter and yet another loss to Georgia, Steve Sarkisian now faces his toughest coaching task since November of 2021. Not just his toughest, but easily most important. Notes on the bill: - Love the part about agent's fees being restricted to 5%. That is in line with professional sports leagues. The registry is also helpful. However, I still think there is room for nefarious actors and "finders fees" that some school apparently seem to be paying "marketing reps". Port Charlotte (Fla.) High 4-star defensive lineman Myron Charles has his official visit date to Texas locked in. Texas had been working on the June 14-16 date, but has settled on getting him in earlier. The Longhorns are set to host the 6-4, 290 pounder May 31-June 2 for an official visit. Charles made an unofficial visit to Texas in late March, and the visit impressed to the level of securing an OV. Florida State has been considered the favorite for months. The Seminoles get the last OV June 21-23. He will visit Texas, Miami and Florida in that order prior to FSU.

The Texas Junior Day will kickoff this weekend to truly commence the start of the 2026 class for the Texas staff. Of course, the staff has been on the road in DFW, California and the deep south this week, but the first true on-campus event always hits a bit differently for recruits in the current class.
