After coaching the Longhorns to his first win in the 2025-26 home opener at Moody Center, Sean Miller said Heide is dealing with "a shoulder situation that we're monitoring." We’ve been tracking a returning starter entering the portal as of early this week. As of now, we believe there’s a greater than 50-50 chance that that player now remains at Texas. TAMPA, Fla. — Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz provided an update on injured running back Ahmad Hardy on Monday at SEC Media Days. Hardy, the nation’s second-leading rusher from 2025, suffered an offseason gunshot wound in May. “Ahmad has been medically cleared from the bullet that struck him, and he is on the road to recovery,” Drinkwitz told reporters. “The bullet did strike a bone in his body, and that has been fully healed and cleared, and today was his first day back towards a full recovery. Last week, I said I would check in to see how the coaches retreat went. I’m told it started near Town Lake. That’s where all the coaches gathered and were placed in groups. Their goal? Row to the other side of the lake and back. I’m told it was near impossible and it took all of an hour. Coaches had an issue synchronizing their strokes, one of the boats almost tipped, etc. It was a near disaster. But that was the whole point of Coach Dave O’Neill, the rowing coach, who led the exercise.
