The season opener took place at DKR in front of 99,171 spectators where the Longhorns put on an absolute clinic defensively and the offense found a scorching hot rhythm as the game progressed. ---- Pregame – It is much cooler than I expected about a week ago. My weather app says 94º is the high, though it is about 88º at the time of kickoff. Much cooler and plays to the advantage of CSU just a bit.
