According to a source, the court is granting the TRO and setting an Injunction hearing. So, Hutson has prevailed in the first part of the process. The first CFP rankings were released last night and Texas, coming in at no. 11, got a little more respect than some figured they would. The Longhorns were ranked above both Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, two teams they’ve beaten. That should seem obvious yet the Horns are ranked behind OU in the AP poll. If Anthony Hill Jr plays on Friday, it’s because he desperately wants to beat Texas A&M. Hill was listed as QUESTIONABLE once again, I am hearing he is not a true 50/50 to play. Hill remains pretty banged up, and it would not come as a surprise if he was a game-time scratch. It’s the first-ever national indoor championship for the men’s team and coach Bruce Berque. Yesterday, I posted how former Longhorns who entered the transfer portal this off-season are doing at their new schools. The community's responses dealt with a variety of players. But one player stuck out to me more than others, and I think it did to a number of you as well. It's the case of Tre Wisner. Just a quick update here. Colin Simmons, Ryan Wingo, Anthony Hill and Arch Manning have all been expected to return to Texas, and they indeed will. But we're now starting to hear about others who are definitively returning next season. While we won't report on everyone in that regard because the Horns are expected to retain the vast majority of players, we will mention a few here and there we think are important. With multiple outlets now reporting it, we can confirm that Syracuse defensive tackle Maraad Watson, who lists at 6-3, 313 pounds, is expected to visit Texas. The visit is slated to begin later this evening. Texas coaches are on the road The Texas staff is on the road recruiting to end the off week. Some coaches began making stops Wednesday, and some will be out Thursday and Friday.
