One year ago Sean Miller was announced as the next Texas men’s head basketball coach following another early round NCAA Tournament exit for the Longhorns, coincidentally at the hands of Miller’s former Xavier team in the First Four. There was a lot of talent on display at yesterday’s Texas pro day. The secondary group of Michael Taaffe, Manny Muhammad, and Jaylon Guilbeau was stout. The two linebackers - Anthony Hill and Trey Moore - were, too. DJ Campbell and Cole Hutson worked on the OL, Jack Endries at TE, and Cole Brevard, Travis Shaw, and Ethan Burke along the defensive front. Frisco High’s Brennen Lacey made his way to Austin Tuesday to take in Texas spring practice. The Texas staff invited him down for spring practice Sunday, and he quickly made plans to head south from DFW. Lacey spent some time with running backs coach Jabbar Juluke, and others.
