Texas forward Declan Duru Jr. is entering the NCAA transfer portal, On Texas Football has learned. On3 first reported Duru set to enter. OTF's Gerry Hamilton has been reporting this is an expected development. Duru is the fourth known departure from Sean Miller’s program following the 2025-26 season, joining guard Simeon Wilcher and forwards Nic Codie and Cam Heide. The 6-foot-9-inch Duru played in 12 games for the Longhorns this past season, averaging 1.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. Some folks have asked multiple times about Mark Stoops and when he might be joining the Texas staff. In speaking with someone close to Stoops over the weekend, we are told the plan is for Stoops to join the staff officially sometime directly following the spring game. AUSTIN, Texas — Colorado transfer point guard Isaiah Johnson has committed to Texas, sources tell OnTexasFootball. As OTF has reported since the transfer portal opened, Johnson is a name high on the Longhorns’ list of wants. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound rising sophomore had a standout freshman season in Boulder, averaging 16.9 points, three assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game. A Los Angeles native, Johnson ranked as a three-star prospect in the class of 2025, choosing Colorado over programs like New Mexico State, Rice, and Sam Houston, among others. Interior offensive lineman Keyon Hemphill-Woods has committed to Texas on Friday evening, choosing the Longhorns over Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Auburn and TCU. The Longhorns offered the 6-foot-3, 275-pounder on the first day of spring ball last month. AUSTIN, Texas — Longhorns center Matas Vokietaitis is expected to return to Texas in 2026, OTF has learned. Draft Express' Jonathan Givony first reported the news. The 7-foot big man has opted to stay with the Longhorns after his play, particularly late in the season, had suitors chomping at the bit for the Lithuanian native to enter the transfer portal.
