We are about a week away from the 2024 Texas football roster moving back onto campus for the upcoming slate of summer conditioning. Of course, the last month or so, most of the team has been back home. But that does not mean the training sessions stop. DL note on a June visitor Texas defensive line coach Kenny Baker stopped by Lorena (Texas) High in May to watch 2025 defensive lineman Jackson Blackwell. And Texas continues to like what they see. Blackwell, 6-02 and 305 pounds, made an unofficial visit to Texas in March, and is now set to return again in June. Blackwell told OnTexasFootball Thursday that he will workout for the Texas staff at June 8 Big Man Camp. The Longhorns remain a possibility to extend an offer. Texas continues to do work as the staff climbs up the west coast. An offer was extended this evening to a 2025 linebacker out of Spanaway, Washington. Zaydrius Rainey-Sale received an offer from Johnny Nansen and Steve Sarkisian this evening. The 6-foot-2 and 220-pound linebacker has been scorching on the recruiting trail as of late, picking up offers from Oklahoma, UCLA and Cal in the last week. It has been reported that Rainey-Sale will officially visit Oregon State (May 31), Washington June 7, Florida State June 14 and Oklahoma June 21. Four-star FSU commit locks in Texas official visit One of the prospects in the Sunshine State the Texas coaching staff went to see in the spring evaluation period (May) was 4-star EDGE Javion Hilson (Cocoa, Fla./High). Hilson, 6-4 and 230 pounds, told OnTexasFootball Saturday that the Longhorns have now locked in an official visit for June 7-9. Three for the price of one! Texas has landed commitments from 2025 Cedar Hill offensive lineman Jordan and Devin Coleman. Kyle Flood and the Longhorn staff have long been involved in the recruitments of the Coleman brothers, dating back to June 11, 2023 when Jordan received his offer from Kyle Flood. The Longhorns then followed up with an offer to Devin in February of 2024. Both brothers visited Texas April 6 where it was clear in conversations with them following the trip they were both big fans of Kyle Flood and the Texas Football program. Another 2026 QB that will throw at Elite Camp June 1 Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne 2026 QB Jaden O'Neal is scheduled to attend Texas Elite Camp June 1 and throw in front of Steve Sarkisian and A.J. Milwee. Milwee was by Narbonne High in the last couple of weeks. O'Neal, 6-3 and 205 pounds, currently holds 27 offers. The list includes spring evaluation period offers by Arkansas,Auburn and Colorado.
