One of the positions on the 2024 roster that is expected to take a leap forward in production is the defensive end room. 2027 K Noah Ash Sets Texas OV *** The Longhorns will receive an official visit from 2027 K Noah Ash on the weekend of June 19th. Jeff Banks and the Texas specialist assistants are going back out to Florida this cycle. Ash calls Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida home. At the moment, Ash is ranked as the No. 2 kicker in the 247Sports rankings and according to Chris Sailer, he is the No. 7 kicker in the country. 2025 Mission Viejo (CA) cornerback Dijon Lee has released a top four for his recruitment which does not include the Longhorns. Lee's top four included Washington, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M. Why is this noteworthy? Well, an official visit was just scheduled by Lee to Texas for June 12-14. It is the only midweek official visit locked in by a 2025 target to Texas at the moment which is also worth mentioning. Lee tells me his official visit will still take place this summer. Texas has extended an offer to 2026 Manoah Faupusa out of Los Alamitos, Calif. The 6-foot-3-inch and 300-pound defensive lineman now holds six offers after receiving USC, UNLV, San Jose State, Colorado and Arizona in the spring of 2023.
