There's really no question that Nagy is in charge. He doesn't answer to Venables; he reports to Stephenson, who isn't even an official administrator. Nagy was the only GM at media days projecting himself as the man to speak for the program. That must have been Stephenson's decision. Gabriel had quite a few more offensive weapons than Mateer will have. If he tries to hero ball, don't think it will turn out well.

Read in several places that his shoulder injury won't completely heal without surgery. He's had the injury since high school, but he doesn't want to take the time out that surgery would require. Doesn't seem like he's getting the best advice for his career.

Read that Nagy has taken advanced game scouting away from Venables. Looks like Venables can't plan a team meal without Nagy's permission.
