Gerry keeps talking about NBA trash talk. I've posted several times the exchange between Kobe and Iverson at the end of game 2 of the NBA Finals, after which Kobe went on to dominate Iverson. I hope Arch tells Downs at the captains meeting/coin toss in Columbus that he's gonna put it on Downs. Get it in his head who is really gonna control the game.

Sayin is accurate and seems to have decent pocket awareness. From a psychologically competitive point of view, he hasn't exactly shown much. As soon as Arch committed to Texas, he decided he didn't want to compete with Arch. Don't really blame him. When Saban initially retired, Sayin didn't immediately hit the portal. He waited until DeBoer arrived and told Sayin that Austin Mack was coming from Washington to compete with Sayin. After that, Sayin transferred.

My understanding is that Arkansas, A&M and the criminals are "permanent" rival games for Texas, unless something changes. I have no doubt the SEC wants to make sure they have Arch play against Ole Miss, Tennessee and LSU.
