  1. Alabama: Amari Niblack Isaiah Bond Kendrick Blackshire Mater Dei: Spencer Shannon Brandon Baker Duncanville: Cameron Williams Colin Simmons Alex January Kendrick Blackshire DeSoto: Johntay Cook Tre Wisner
  2. Yeah, my prediction for last year was also for us to go undefeated and win the national championship. Then I had a speeding Oklahoma twice. Good season anyway though. Love where we're headed.
  3. Well, there are three obvious potential losses. Georgia, Oklahoma & Texas a&m. I'm just going to predict that we went all of them. We win the SEC championship with a second win over Georgia then continue our run through the playoffs to a national championship. With the current playoff setup for the coming year, we might actually get a third shot at Georgia.
  4. You seem to be picking up steam here today Bobby.
  5. Probably a fantasy, but I'm right there with you.
  6. Well, it looks like a potentially insurmountable lead for Alabama at this point.
  7. Like a lot of fans I'm sure, I struggle with high school versus portal. I really want to believe that we're using the portal to fill holes. I hope Bobby is correct when he says that portal usage will go down after this year. I understand we need to use it whenever possible, or needed. I just like the idea of developing our own guys.
  8. By the way, I love that instead of a "like", we have the Hook 'Em". Unfortunately, there is a limit to how many of these we can use on a daily basis.
  9. Great information, Blake. Usually I take the lazier route and just click a reaction. However, reactions seem to be limited on the site and I have reached my limit for the day.
  10. So...... There's this guy I watch on YouTube a lot (Bobby Burton) who thinks we need two of these guys. I do wonder, however, whether we really do. If we could find someone as big and talented as Sweat, hell yes! But, as you mentioned, I fully expect significant progress to be made by the guys that are already there. I don't see doom and gloom on the defensive line even if we don't bring in anyone through the portal. But if we could get a stud....
  11. I posted this mostly for levity initially. However, now that I think about it a little bit, I wonder how many players of impact will come from the school's listed in the coming season. Also, how do we consider Blackshire? Does he count for Alabama or Duncanville? Or both?
  12. I'll admit to being confused about the Covid year. Even after I looked it up, I'm not completely clear on this. But, it appears to me that if you enrolled in college in the fall of' 21, you don't qualify for the COVID-19 Waiver. "The COVID-19 Automatic Waiver criteria is based solely on the student's pre-seventh semester academic record and applies to all expected Spring/Summer 2020 graduates who initially enroll full time in 2020-21." Would this mean he only has one year left? I think he's rotational at best. We still need to find the Murphy / Sweat type guys.
  13. If I remember correctly, you can include the transfer portal and high school recruiting in the 247 rankings. Texas should definitely rank in the top three for 2025. Of course, I think they should do that every year.
