Petrino is a really good play caller. I think Sark should kick the tires on him, but as you said, I don't think he will either.

They very well could, like Wilson for example. He is huge in getting kids to stay in Louisiana.

I was just reading about t hat situation, damn crazy. The off-season is going to be insane with the portal opening up and guys getting 30 day windows when their coaches leave, etc. Most of the hires aren't like years past with big names floating around everywhere. Kiffin to LSU will be dangerous but I have a feeling he should've stayed at Ole Miss, he's proven time and time again that he can't handle big expectations. Haven't heard about Penn State in ages, what are they even doing? Lol. Looks like Sumarall is now the Florida focus, not sure the fanbase is going to be happy with another G5 HC. Tulane made him an offer to stay, but I'd think he'd take the Florida job. Arky is after the Bama DC and Memphis HC. Golesh was their original target but it looks like Auburn is going to snag him. Going to be so much fun in the off-season.

Having though about it, I kind of agree. At first I really wanted these games but If losing them doesn't give you any wiggle room for games in the business section of your season than cancel them. Why bother playing them just so the NCAA can have big marquee games to market to the big networks. I'd rather be 10-2 than 9-3 and have ourselves a spot. Because that's what it comes down to, imo. If we still had the Florida and Georgia losses, they wouldn't be holding them against us. So I now agree with the sentiment, as much as I like the big game match ups, you lose more than you benefit.

I think that was because we all thought the team would be better than it was. Something was definitely happening behind the scenes or in the off-season for things to be that far off, imo.

We needed teams to lose today, that didn't. OU and Vandy won. Utah and BYU won, so did Tech. Miami won, too. Our slim chances are practically 0 right now.

I have a feeling Ohio State is going back to back. They're going to be tough to play in Austin next year.

We've heard numerous times that Sark won't hire an OC/Playcaller, it's just not going to happen. Because even if he does, he'll still be meddling in it and not actually let them control the O, etc. At the same time, players need to execute, too. While the scheme/playcalling isn't the best, players aren't doing their part either.

It would be weird if they did want him to leave, imo. He's a very good prospect and would be a huge loss for us.

I don't think there are bigger fish. Losing a guy like Cleveland is a big deal, he's a high quality DL recruit.

Texas isn't flipping Lee. We haven't seen any big time flips for Texas in a while. Plus Michigan's season never fell apart.

Well that sucks. Part of the reason I dislike NIL. I've no problem with players getting paid but it makes recruiting seem like a moot point most of the time. Might as well just come in and say here's how much we're willing to pay, let us know lol. I mean seriously, what is the point of relationship building when most guys are just chasing the bag?
