I don’t post here a lot. But I want to say a huge thank you to Bobby, Gerry, and Blake for what they provide us every morning with Coffee and Football. This morning I took an early flight to Houston for work. As I was driving around Houston in the rain I put on Coffee and Football. We had Brad Shearer on followed by Tony. Man… I was in heaven. Where else can you get one of the all time greats talk about practicing with a dislocated elbow thanks to Earl. Then Tony Hills comes over the top with his typical Wednesday passion. Seriously, where else could we get this content? I actually thought Gerry was just like… let Brad Shearer go… cause he’s killing it. Anyway, I really want to thank you all for all you do for us Orangebloods. There’s nobody even in the same ballpark as you guys. I’m so glad I found yall. Hook’ em!

Your dad and my dad would get along!

60's Longhorn running back. Like I said, not sure if it's true. Was wondering if others had any information. My dad used to tell me stories of those Texas teams.

Saw online that Chris Gilbert has passed away. Not sure if true. Anyone else heard this?

Wow. Waco Midway bumping up to 6A. in the same district with temple, Belton, the Killeen schools and Bryan. Back in my day (late 80's) that would be one hell of a tough district.

Waco boy living in Colleyville, Texas.

This is beyond sad. Prayers for Scott and his family. Hook 'em!

Lots of horns here. We’ll be here til Gametime.

This place has a shuttle to and from the game, btw.

We’re heading to K&S bar and grille in Lexington to pregame. Any Horns are welcome to join us.

Sorry if I missed it but we’re up here for the game this weekend with some buddies. Where are the On Texas Football folks getting together tomorrow to tailgate or watch the earlier games before the Horns? TIA and Hook em!

Bobby, I'll be there with 4 buddies. Looking forward to seeing OTF in Lexington this weekend!

Sold

Have 1 ticket in section 115, Row 26 for sale. $250. DM me if interested. Hook’ em!

I watch OTF or YouTube videos about playing specific songs on guitar or guitar lessons in general.

Drunk randoke, I'm on the same timeline as you and Craig. I loved this video. Craig has always been a class act and I'm proud he represents our University! The content you all are putting out is phenomenal! Keep up the great work guys! Hook' em!

RIP to a true Longhorn legend! Hook’ em Steve!

Britt Hager in football and Brooks Kieschnick in baseball.

Great idea! While we're at it, let's get Brooks Kieschnick on to discuss the baseball team. Since Bobby added Jeff Howe to the team, the collective knowledge of Longhorn history/tradition on the board/channel is really impressive. It would be cool if they leaned into that.

I lost a good friend, Dave, Friday night after the Cotton Bowl. He passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was a childhood friend and my roommate at Texas in the early 90’s. He loved his Longhorns. A few of us buddies have a text thread that we use during Longhorn games. Dave never responded to our texts Friday night. I talked to his wife tonight and asked if Dave watched the game. She said she helped prop him up in bed so he could watch. When it was over he asked her to turn the tv off. He was upset but told her was proud of the season the Horns had. Then she told me, in the middle of the night she woke up and heard him listening to the postgame on that damn podcast. I asked which one? She said you know, that On Texas podcast you all watch. She said he watched that thing religiously. I know this is a somewhat morbid post but I just wanted to thank you guys for bringing joy to my friend’s life over the past year or so. He’s dealt with a lot and I really think your YouTube videos were one of the few things that brought him happiness over the past number of months. I appreciate you all very much. Hook’ em Dave!

Man we have some miserable fans. Enjoy the ride. We’re lucky to have multiple talented qb’s. Some of y'all would rather be right in an internet pissing match than enjoy what our team is accomplishing.

Hey Blake. It looked like YouTube was having sound issues for this morning's show. Any info on where and when we can catch Coffee and Football this morning?

It was glorious. You were saying what we were all thinking.

You misspelled aggy.

Continued prayers to Colt and the whole Munroe family!
