Yeah, that is just wrong. Sorry. Letting you guys know the best I/we can when someone commits to Texas is meaningful. Now that doesn't mean the Texas staff gets 10 of 10 of those guys to commit publicly (as things in the NIL and recruiting world can change), but if the Texas staff follows through and 8 or 9 of 10 end up committing publicly - that's significant.

Mbatchou not expected to announce a decision until late November or early December ... barring a major change.

Loganville (Ga.) Grayson High 4-star+ DL Joseph Mbatchou has de-committed from Florida. The 6-4.5, 275-pounder made an official visit to Texas over the weekend. Texas is battling USC and potentially Georgia for the first-year player with a very high ceiling.

5-star LB Tyler Atkinson post visit update The Grayson (Ga.) High 2026 5-star linebacker had a tremendous visit to Texas the last two days. Atkinson spent a considerable amount of 1-on-1 time with Johnny Nansen despite Texas having a huge game. Atkinson, 6-3 and 210, also spent time talking with Longhorn legend Derrick Johnson. They talked about being a moveable chess piece at the LB position, and how he could do that at Texas. Atkinson and family told OTF that they were impressed with the Texas defense. The fight Texas showed impressed. The city of Austin also has a real appeal for the Atlanta area 5-star in 2026. OTF expects Atkinson to come back for a visit in January or the spring, and a June OV. On the Georgia side, the Bulldogs are telling him that he will be used exactly like Jalon Walker.

Correct. Was told that TCU isn't as talented as their last 3-4 teams, but Texas did play well for having so many new faces trying to build into roles and rotation. And there is this ... Colorado will be extremely well coached, but not as talented as last year either. Texas and the Buffaloes scrimmage the 26th in Austin. Will likely be a 15-20 point type win.
