Was only a matter of time before a coach did this 😂

I agree. Not sure he makes sense for the top jobs but purely as a coach he’s really good. Clemson being as good as they are under him, with completely undervalued and under recruited guys, says a lot. I think he’s perfect for a job like Clemson where he won’t land top guys but can develop under the radar ones.

California kid?

Exactly 😂

You can’t script it any better.

Completely agree. Plus I think we had the offensive pieces to give that “vaunted” defense problems. Look what we did to them this past season in their place with less skill and continuity on offense. Definitely a missed opportunity. But just like we matched up well against Michigan, Washington matched up well against us… I still gotta remember that we fumbled twice in that 2nd half & still almost won it. Just pain.

Definitely Tech but last year to Washington with 4 tries in the red zone still pains me. No question in my mind we beat Michigan last year. They hadn’t played a team more equipped to take away everything they wanted to do than us. I’ll die on that hill forever.

I can still remember how hyped I was when Jerrod Heard ripped off that huge run to tie it & then how stunned I was when we missed the extra point.

It’s too bad A&M’s basketball team is pretty good this year. But then again, they’ll probably get overhyped and overvalued after the Auburn win & immediately turn around & lose to a mid program lol

Ah yes, the team that was so good that they would coast to the natty even after losing the best coach in the country.

12-0?? 😂😂😂 the path doesn’t exist

Schloss might be even better of a coach than people thought lol

Like clockwork

Gotta think first game nerves got in our guys heads. Especially with a new coaching regime, players want to come out & impress. I have a feeling Schloss will calm them down & they’ll play a lot better tomorrow.

I think either Collins or Williams ends up with the Eagles. The way they play & maximize both lines I think they would both have a tremendous chance to maximize there. Imagine Collins in tandem with Jalen Carter? He might get 10+ sacks just off the fact Carter commands a double every snap. Or Williams a year or two to develop even further behind Lane Johnson at RT.

Very true. & they do a great job at developing OL so I think he could turn into an All-Pro level player if he sits behind Lane Johnson for a year or two

Cam Williams to the Eagles in the 2nd round makes too much sense

I do think it’s overblown for sure but I do think if one of our guys go crazy in the spring game, it’s not just the other programs we need to worry about. We gotta worry about who may be around these kids telling them they’re worth x amount of dollars & they should explore the portal etc. But overall I agree with your premise that we as Texas really shouldn’t struggle to retain players. I would hope everyone in the program is locked in & wouldn’t be swayed anyways but you never know.

You & every coach in America 😂 selfishly I get it but if it keeps the roster intact then we can cancel it

Another number 1 RB out of Florida you say…

The Texas staff is playing NCAA with these recent stretch of offers, toggling straight over to the 5 star prospects 😂

💀

You understood the assignment. Bigger than any of the above for sure!

OTF is healing lol

Yea 100%. These recruiting cycles are gonna be agonizing from now on 😂
