Ohio State got tired of losing to Michigan, they are cleaning up from coach hires, transfer portal, keeping their NFL draft prospects from entering and high school recruiting.

Bummer, I thought we had a really good shot with him. Good to know early...

VY Steakhouse internship program...

A little insomnia, so took a look at this year's 23 transfers. 6 Started at least 1 game at Texas (some due to injuries) 2 Qb's 2 Rb's. (Not counting Derrian Brown) 2 Wr's 1 OL 3 DL 3 Edge 2 LB's 3 CB's 5 Safeties Juan Davis was allowed to return to team after entering portal, hadn't heard the reasoning behind that with Sark's rule.

Now we have to take reaches to get to even get to 85...

Couldn't agree more on all the "passing" on a lot of starters at the DT position in portal. As @Gerry Hamilton says, there's no excuses for lacking talent or depth in the Portal era at a blue blood school. The "patience" in the portal has backfired big time.

Todd Bates is a really good DT coach with a lot of skins on the wall, I doubt NIL was that different. Let's not be that fan base that everytime we lose a recruit we cry NIL. With that being said, hopefully our OL puts him on skates and costs him a lot of money in the 2025 draft.

Washington just took a 5'9 corner ranked almost 40 spots below AD. That report must have been something...

Agree 100%, You want your top pick in the draft to be pumped to be there, not feeling screwed.

Is he for sure in portal, I don't see him listed on some of the recruiting sites. He would be nice depth with his versatility coming back. I'm getting concerned with no visits lines up for transfer corners. https://247sports.com/season/2024-football/transferportal/?institutionkey=24028

The new tackle rules are going to make the RB position more important for sure.

Murph and AD will have 3 contracts.

Love the suprise guests. Always a bonus.

Good stuff, also important to play in the Big 10 or SEC. 24 of the 32 picks and 11 of the top 13 are from these conferences using 2024 conferences.

Army Navy would be #1 for obvious reasons for me. For other rivalries, both teams have to be competitive for me if Texas isn't involved. For example, never really cared about Ohio St Michigan until last few years with Michigan being good. I'd put Bedlam (RIP), Bama/Auburn, and Tennessee Georgia up there as well. Miami FSU has lost its shine but that was fun to watch back in the day.

Any visits scheduled from corners in portal?

I can't imagine anyone wanting to go to the league to play for CU, it's a train wreck. Does Big 12 allow spring transfers to go to other league members?

I'm hoping Denver doesn't get a QB this year and Quinn falls in their laps next year. Also, with Watts' measurables, surely he gets drafted.

I wish Texas would charge and bring in a team to scrimmage.

I'm sure that is coming, CU supposedly made close to 1.5 million last year for their spring game.

So we are sitting at 84 now with Tapp leaving? My math right?

This is a false narrative. While it might not be the highest in the SEC, it's competitive. Maybe Terry can give up some of his since he doesn't know how to build a roster either.

We're Texas!

It's crazy how bad the recruiting sites are on DL position. Kid is unranked but has offers from Texas, LSU, Miami, Auburn, USC, Georgia, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Tennessee.
