  1. Without a *Portal starter, Chatman, Sikorski, Coleman, and Cojoe (eventually) will likely be competing for the open Guard spot. We should be able to get a competent player from those candidates. Additionally, we’re still looking at Portal options so there will likely be more options to consider when it’s all said and done. Turn your frown upside down and enjoy this period of Longhorn success 🤘🏼
  2. I’m sure they’ll cross train Baker since he’s the swing OT, but I’m sure they’ll get him tons of guard reps first and foremost. Start of Spring, I’d guess: LT - Chatman / Turntine LG - Baker / Christian C - Robertson / Sikorski RG - *Portal / Sikorski or Coleman RT - Siani / Newman Ultimately, I believe Chatman is probably the backup LG, but for Spring he probably needs to take LT snaps so that Baker can get LG reps. Chatman has previously repped at both Come fall: LT - Goosby / Siani LG - Baker / Chatman C - Robertson / Sikorski RG - *Portal / Sikorski or Coleman RT - Siani / Baker 🤘🏼
  3. Agree. The exercise was a depth chart without any further additions. 🤘🏼
  4. It’s certainly not done yet, but also not terrifying even if it was. Assuming no more additions, which will not be happening: LT - Goosby (Jr)/ Baker (Jr)/ Turntine (Fr)/ LG - Chatman (Jr) or Baker (So)/ Christian (rFr) C - C.Robertson (Sr)/ Christian (rFr)/ Coleman 2 (rFr) RG - Sikorski (So)/ Coleman 2 (rFr)/ N.Robertson (Fr) RT - Baker (Jr) or Cojoe (Jr)/ Coleman 1 (rFr) The starters would probably be comparable to how our OL finished the year. Goosby, Baker and Robertson will be better. Chatman is probably pretty close to Hutson and certainly better than the other LGs. Sikorski is probably a step back from Campbell, but not too far back. Campbell was solid, but not great, IMO. All that said, we’re getting more guys and hopefully Seaton at RT so we’re gonna be better than good. 🤘🏼
