Why would you listen to a bunch of biased simps?

I was there and got to spend it with my daughter at UT. That might have been the loudest rendition of The Eyes of Texas I have ever heard. It gives me goose bumps thinking of it.

What about the Vandy win? I would say that’s a good win as well.

How is Tech ranked ahead of Ole Miss and ATM? What a joke. BYU at 11. The addition of Texas and OU to the SEC made this conference insanely strong. If we just want to put in the best teams in the nation to fight it out, the SEC has a really strong case for 7 teams! If my team was usually in the bottom half of the SEC rankings, I would not be happy.

But with College BB the tournament is large enough that you can give out consolation prizes. In BB a Cinderella story is much more likely because the squads are smaller and there is less potential for injury.

What I don’t understand is why CFB is the only sport that doesn’t put the best teams in the sport in the playoff. If this is the best we can do, I would rather go back to the old bowl system and regional rivalries. At least CFB was more representative of the region that you lived in and fueled debate and camaraderie amongst friends and family that went to those schools or had friends and family at those schools.

So would leaving out Texas that out gained the number one team in the nation at home and is the only team that was within one score of OSU.

So Texas is the only team that can’t afford a hiccup? ND lost to Northen Illinois. Bama lost to FSU that just got obliterated by Florida. Texas will most likely be the only team outside of the eventual playoff champ to beat three playoff teams. Think about that and then get back with me on the Florida loss.

Other than the eventual playoff champ, Texas will most likely be the only other team that beat three playoff teams, and beat them handily! CFB just needs to make a super division of 60 or so teams and stop with the participation trophies to ND, the ACC and the Big 12. The SEC Championship game does nothing for the conference in the Playoff era. Just look at the numbers for the Texas OSU game to start the season! Let’s just have the best play the best and stop pretending that these other teams and conferences that do not value football like we do are at the same level. Sure they can catch a better team sleeping and pull out a one game upset, but that’s it. How ironic would it be if Texas doesn’t get into the CFP and the eventual playoff champ is the only other team to beat three play off teams? And not only did Texas beat this three teams, it did so in convincing fashion in each game.

Sark’s offenses have been extremely disappointing since he got here and his half time adjustments have consistently been terrible. I think it’s too much to be the HC at a place like Texas and the OC. Just look at Ryan Day and how tOSU has changed (as pointed out by another poster). Even Nick Saban had DCs! Sark needs to look at Saban. This offense has been all brakes and no gas. It feels more like Quinn over came the offense more than the offense helped him compete at the highest level he could. I like what Sark has done as a HC, but he needs to swallow his pride and hire an OC.

I really don't know what to think. It kind of reminds me of the Garret Gilbert situation. Hopefully, it turns out much differently.

Peyton was a true freshman though. This is the start of Arch's third year. I am not saying he can't turn it around, just that it isn't comparing apples to apples on Peyton. I am not sure how long Eli sat before getting his shot.

I couldn't disagree more. The next three weeks are crucial for this offense and its development going into Florida. For whatever reason, Sark has been more brakes than gas since he got here. Sark has done an amazing job developing and turning this program around, but his offenses have been massively disappointing. Some of that has to do with Sark's reputation as an offensive guru. Hopefully, he will do some serious self assessment and fix the offense, or hire some new blood at OC so he can focus on being the CEO. It may just be that Sark has too much on his plate and his OC duties are taking hit at the expense of his HC duties. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have Sark. I just hope he is able to figure out why his offenses have sputured so badly since he go to Texas. As the OC at Bama he was great so he has it in him, I just don't know if he has it in him to give up some of the control if he is spread to thin.

Wouldn't that apply to any other ranking?

Hell yeah! I guess we are SEC ready. Ha ha ha. Does anyone know how far back second place was?

I just read that Texas won 9 SEC championships. That sounds pretty good. How did we stack up against everyone else? How many Championships did OU and ATM win?
