This is so ham fisted by Campbell and the Tech sycophants. At least come out and say that you don't care about what you're preaching about integrity in college sports, and just say that you just care about forwarding the interests in Tech. Also, I was listening to the Ruffino and Joe show and they had a good point about Campbell. In that USA today article, Campbell said something to the effect of that if Sorsby plays next season he owes him $5 million dollars. Isn't that pay for play? Did Campbell just admit to cheating? @Bobby Burton

I know he's a sponsor of the show and he's entitled to his opinion, but this is a horrible take by Loewy.

That judge was going to get voted out if this wasn't the outcome, but at what cost? There seems to be enough people and entities in lock-step about this horrible, absurd ruling.

The problem is that once we start doing it, we will get punished for it.

At the end of the day, Campbell can have his cake and eat it too. He gets his quarterback (at what cost? I don't know) and will have everyone rushing to get this bill passed in Congress. They knew this was going to blow up, and they sacrificed everyone's integrity to do so.

As far as I can tell, he is siding with Sorsby.

In enters Cody Campbell and a bag of cash. This still doesn't fix the root issue in that whenever I see my team do something absolutely boneheaded that I won't question if there was gambling happening.

The Big 12 has doubled down with Tech, they are in cahoots together. It's obvious why....(cough) Campbell... (cough, cough)... money.

I cannot say for a certainty that this judge got paid or was facing intense pressure from his community, but that's the first thing that enters my mind and most likely others as well. My 5 year old knows better than this judge.

Yeah, but what else is new? Listen to any broadcast of Texas playing in any sport, and it's no different. My theory has always been we proved the national media wrong when we best USC, and they've never let it down.

Weirdly enough, it feels like all of the pressure is on Tech after all the chirping they've been doing. What's equally weird is that you see the national media believing their hype. They could make some noise tomorrow, but I like our chances.
