There’s a reason he’s just now getting a look

For perspective, right now we’d have the #2 ranked class in Big12 behind only Oklahoma. Instead we are currently 8th in the SEC recruiting rankings. Hopefully we close strong, hard to win in the SEC consistently unless you are recruiting at an elite level yearly and 8th in conference among the likes of Arkansas and Kentucky won’t be good enough.

You mean the guy that just got our #1 recruit on the board to leave Texas and head all the way to Oregon? What a foolish comment this is.

Yikes that sucks

Hopefully not an Achilles, seems it could be with what’s being reported

Hate to hear that for anyone. Think positive and hopefully you end up where god intends for you to be. This happened to me nearly 10 years ago, I thought I’d never find a job as good as the one I had, it turned out I landed a dream job with an amazing company making significantly more money. Keep your head up my friend

Damn good job, Blake. Great interview and a good listen. Schloss is going to do great things at Texas, the baseball program is in great hands. 🤘🏻

He don’t want that smoke

Exactly!

How many DL do they need? Two already committed and assuming they land Griffin too. This is why Georgia wins like they do, elite fronts.

The real nonsense is grown adults assassinating a high schoolers character because he didn’t pick the school they preferred. Instead of saying “something is wrong with this kid” you’d have been releasing ballon’s in celebration had he flipped to Texas. Hypocrisy knows no bounds, grow up and stop slandering high schoolers and their decisions.

Thinking it is one thing, saying it is another. The hypocrisy among fans is incredible stuff.

You’d have said this had he flipped to us yesterday?

I assume you didn’t read the ESPN article written when he was fired from USC. It clearly said and cited a reason for his struggles and drinking was that he was going through a divorce at the time. I hope he has a good support system. Tough situation I’d imagine. Praying for him and everyone else.

Maybe we can showcase our 1a Texas high school’s practice facilities because they are better than ours. Embarrassing if we are being honest.

Per his instagram. I hope coach has a good support system around him. Prayers to Sark and family.

Do you attribute that to the structure of the staff and the overall process?

What’s your thoughts?

Great question. Sark has downplayed the need for a quote GM, he said he is the GM. “That connection led to Harris’ opportunity in the role, but so too did the number of vast changes in college athletics. Sarkisian, when asked in previous years about creating a general manager role, said “I am the GM.” But with the need to maintain connections to high school prospects, their coaches, and their families, a new talent pool emerging in the transfer portal, and NIL looming over the entire sport, Sarkisian saw the need to elevate Harris so he could manage the roster “at a little bit of a higher level.”

He elevated Harris with Bobby Merritt departures to become Rice GM. He then elevated Searels into Harris previously held role. Yes, “John” M Jones took Glasscocks position

I certainly agree. Smart forward thinking move by OU. Sark downplayed the need for a GM when asked about it last. Will his stance change? We shall see.

Sark has been asked about this several times. He allowed Glasscock to leave to be Ole Miss’ GM. Sark obviously hasn’t seen a need for a quote GM or even someone who handles the finances of NIL or he’d likely have done it this last off season when he restructured things after Glasscocks departure. He elevated Brandon Harris and Taylor Searels to assume some of these roles and responsibilities.

Yes, he released a video reaffirming his commitment to Oregon with it titled “kill the noise”.

No clue who those characters are but sure.
