Blake Munroe

There’s no way I can post the thing here, but this is worth a read. From Bill Connelly: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45807129/2025-sec-college-football-projections-preview

Checking this and many more recommendations y’all made out tonight!

Yes. It's for next year's draft. Draft eligible only.

Yep! For those who don't wanna read the whole thing... Thieneman, Michael Taaffe (Texas) and other very talented safeties would be candidates for the top spot in most years, but Downs is a rare prospect holding it down as the top safety and No. 1 overall player in the class.

Came across this on ESPN this morning: The article goes on to say that Hill has a chance to be a top five pick in the next draft. Article is here: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/story/_/id/45772397/2026-nfl-draft-top-prospects-quarterback-edge-rusher-cornerback

Join us for Coffee and Football beginning around 8:15 AM, as we take your questions and discuss the latest on the Longhorns.

We are now 36 days away from the Longhorns taking on the Buckeyes in Columbus for the season opener. Who is your favorite Texas player to wear No. 36? Some options today include... William Graham Unfortunately I can not find a picture of William Graham, William Graham played as a defensive back for the Texas Longhorns from 1979 to 1981. In 1980, he recorded four interceptions in 11 games. In 1981, he had seven interceptions in 11 games, tying the school record, leading the Southwest Conference, and ranking third nationally. His 11 career interceptions placed him fourth all-time at Texas. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fifth round of the 1982 NFL Draft. Lamaar Houston We will cheat a little bit on this one, as he also wore 33, but so we can have a pic today...

Mike Norvell's buyout at Florida State is currently $63.8 million if the university were to terminate his contract before its expiration in 2031.

OnTexas

I use the term top ten very loosely. Obviously +2800 is way down the list, especially when you got 4 with +1000 or less.

Texas brought him in for a visit. Good pickup for FSU.... I think.

Rise and shine it’s Coffee and Football time! Join us at 8:15 or 8:20 (who knows?), as we talk Texas and answer your questions. Today’s guest is Will Matthews.

LB Jonathan Cunningham is the current No. 37.

Shoutout to Will Matthews as well… he wore 37 and will be joining us for Coffee and Football today!

We are down to 37 days before the Longhorns take on the Buckeyes in Columbus. Who is your favorite No. 37 for Texas? Options today include… Henry Melton Terry Orr Glenn Blackwood

I’ve asked Brandon to come on C&F. He never responded. I’d love to have a 60 min convo with Corbell. The fact so many of you are into UFO stuff is awesome. Speaking of shows on Discovery, can’t believe I forgot to mention Expedition Unknown. His (Josh Gates) UFO special is phenomenal.

Buyout is the issue there.

In another 1-2 years I wouldn’t be surprised if Texas and LSU aren’t preseason favorites for many years to come.
