Hannah Wells caught on a hot mike at the very beginning of the post game press conference, "Ohh... I hate this sh-t." I follow Longhorn softball pretty closely, and like Hannah Wells – and I like her tough minded approach. She has played well – although perhaps did not have as big an impact as she'd hoped, coming in as the Gatorade Player of the Year. She's also not getting the national attention at the end of the season she probably wanted (or expected). She's been left off some All-Freshman lists. So, some frustration is understandable. And of course I don't know the full context of her frustration... but I'm surprised at the attitude she displayed while sitting down in front of the press – and I imagine she'll get a earful from the communication folks in the athletic department.

The umps actually called the runner out. The replay officials should be ashamed.
