  1. Pack's flyout to left kept carrying. It was deep enough to get Robbins to third base.
  2. Montgomery is getting a mound visit. The crowd is alive.
  3. Tinney with a 113 mph single to center. That's consecutive base hits to open the sixth, setting the table for Pack. Two on with nobody out.
  4. Robbins goes the other way, leading off the sixth with a single to right.
  5. Riojas is at 77 pitches through five innings. The solo home run his allowed in the first is the only run for either side.
  6. Ruger's sixth strikeout of the game puts him at 300 for his career. He's one of four active Division I pitchers with 300 or more career strikeouts.
  7. He's incredibly streaky. He got hot at the end of the regular season and he's cooled off in the regional.
  8. Larson laces a one-out single the other way. That brings Borba up with a man on and one out.
  9. Mendoza gave it a ride, but it's a flyout to right at wall to lead off the fifth.
  10. A great defensive play by Borba ends the fourth. Riojas has settled in since giving up the home run.
  11. This game is hard enough without umpires trying to impact it more than they should.
  12. Montgomery's fourth strikeout ends the fourth with Rodriguez going down on strikes.
  13. Not sure I like your clean-up hitter who doesn't have great speed bunting with one out when you're trailing, but that's why Schloss gets paid a lot more than I do.
  14. Pendergrass runs one down in the gap to get Riojas and the Longhorns out of the inning. Texas trails by a run after three.
