  1. Since Borba's career home run total has tied Kody Clemens, we've started the conversation in the press box about when his No. 2 and/or Ivan Melendez's No. 17 will be retired. Since Taylor Jungmann got his No. 26 rightfully retired after a long wait, I'm not picky about who's next or when it will be.
  2. Wow. We were just told in the press box that Texas is the first Power Four program in the BBCOR era (since 2011) to hit 100 home runs and steal 100 bases in a season.
  3. Tinney's groundout to third ends another two-run, one-hit inning.
  4. With 34 career home runs, Casey Borba is tied with Kody Clemens for the sixth-most home runs in program history.
  5. Plenty deep to score Pendergrass from third. Show what I know! Texas has a 4-0 lead.
  6. The call has been overturned. Pendergrass is on third base with one out.
  7. Yep. Three teams have hit 100 more home runs in school history. Each of them has had Tulo as their hitting coach.
  8. They're reviewing the CS 2-5. I'm not sure why they sent Pendergrass anyway. He was already in scoring position and Mabeus has a heck of an arm.
  9. Pendergrass is in scoring position after stealing second. Scolari is up to 42 pitches.
  10. Pendergrass works a walk. I love his speed on first base, knowing Robbins uses the entire field as a hitter.
  11. That 395-foot home run by Borba was the team's 100th of the season.
  12. That was Borba's 18th home run of the season.
  13. The first pitch Borba sees from Scolari is an opposite-field solo home run. Texas has a 3-0 lead.
  14. That was Larson's second strikeout of the postseason.
